Human rights are moral principles that describe certain standards of human behavior and are regularly protected as legal rights in municipal and international law. They are understood as inalienable fundamental rights.

the idea of human rights emerged after world war II. The extermination by Nazi Germany of over six million Jews, homosexuals and persons with disabilities horrified the world. Officials from the defeated countries were punished for committing war crimes against peace and humanity. On December, 1948 the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the 56 members of the United Nations.

There are 30 human rights, according to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, created by the United Nations in 1948 to provide a global understanding of how to treat individuals
