Croatia prohibits homosexual marriages

Croatia today decided by a referendum banning gay marriage. A Catholic charity has been what has driven 740,000 signatures to ban them.

The constitutional amendment restricting marriage to heterosexuals went ahead with 64.8% of votes in favor and 35.5% against, according to the data. But they have only participated in the vote 40% of the Croatian population.

Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic Social Democrat, voted against the proposal and lamented not be avoided because this query on matrimono.

I think it is very wrong to ban gay marriage because everyone has the right to marry whoever, and they are free to do what they want and doesn't matter if they are two men or two woman because if they love each other there isn't any problem, they aren't doing anything bad to us.

I don't understand how people can hate it because everybody is free to do what they want. Love is irrational and we can't choose who we love, we simply love them. And if in other countries have no problem with this topic I don't understand why Croatia says no the gay marriage.

This new was published in bbc news on Friday and I was surprised why, increasingly, they are instilling traditions like halloween in Spain. Although it seems to me everything about good sales! So I'm very happy that this tradition has been instilled!!!

U-CAT, new robotic turtle

This news article explains that engineers of Estonia have created a turtle robot.

The creator of this turtle robot is Taavi Salumäe. This robot has been created to help archaeologists to investigate the shipwrecks, to dive to inaccessible places too dangerous or deep for humans. 

It consists of a mini robot with four independently driven flippers to make it highly manoeuvrable and it is able to swim backwards as well as forwards, travel upwards and even turn in tight spaces. It has a camera onboard and can record what it sees so video footage can later be used to reconstruct a site underwater. 

The device is part of the Arrows project, which is an EU-funded project to make underwater archaeology easier. The various innovations, will be tested in the Mediterranean and the Baltic seas where devices like the underwater turtle will assist larger underwater robots to identify interesting underwater sites

I found this new on www.maildaily.com and I was very surprise when i saw it, because I think is very interesting that science and technology is advancing much in a few years.

The best app!!!!

Today I will talk about SOUND CLOUD, is an application that I discovered right now. I Absolutely love it. It is the best app I've ever had and I always use it. I can use it from the phone and from the computer. Allows you to listen music, find new songs and remixs.
You can create a list of songs that you like, follow other users, to listen to their songs and put songs I like on others. I would have loved to know long before this app. Now I'm all day listening  all kinds of songs, I can't live without music. If you don't know about it, DOWNLOAD!!!

Self evaluation about our presentation

I will do a self-evaluation of oral presentation that I did with Artiom and Caspin. The topic to choose for these presentations were different customs, weddings and funerals worldwide but we decided to make the presentation about marijuana cause didn't want to make the presentation of the same as the others. I can't upload the video  because we forgot to recorde it! so I write the most important things we said. 

Me: Hello! We are Artiom, Caspin and Laura and now we are going to talk a little bit about marijuana. First of all, we need to know what exactly is it. So, is the female flowers and dried leaves of the hemp plant. Also known as Cannabis Sativa. Cointains about 60 intoxicants, but THC is the main intoxicant that causes a person to "get high".

Caspin: the marijuana plant contains a lot of fiber and it can be used to make ropes,clothes,buliding supplies even fuel for cars!. 

Me: In Great Britain there are 30.000 milion people that have tried marijuana and about 3.000 milion that use it daily despite the risk. 

Artiom: Do you know?? A lot of famous smoke it, like Wiz Khalifa, Beyónce or Rihanna, and a lot of them talk about marijuana in their songs as morodo's song or others.. There are many celebrities who indulge the marijuana and support legalization. 

Caspin: The Symptoms of marijuana are red eyes,dry mouth,litghtheaded,tired muscles and a hot body.

Me: Marijuana has been proven to be safer than alcohol and tabaco but that doesn't mean that it's good.

Artiom: They say that beacuse for example when you are pregnant you cant drink alcohol beacuse it can hurt the baby and marijuana has neves been proved to hurt the baby. In some country and citys it has already been legalized and I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to legalize it too. In conclusion, LEGALIZE IT! (Artiom talked a little bit more about legalize marihuana but I don't remember)

First of all I want to say that I'm shy so I was a little bit nervous but I was lucky because I did the oral presentation with a goods friends, Arti and Caspin. We did a power to show pictures about what we were explaining.Well, I think that I have a good prounciation but I was nervous so I talked quietly so people had difficulties to heard me. I don't know if I did an eye contact, I asked to my classmates and they told me that I did it a little, I know that I looked a lot to my teacher.

               

A life without phones

Today I will talk about life without phones. As you think that would be life without telephones? I think many people's lives today revolves around technology and people was very attached to the use of different electronic machines, specifically at mobiles phones. In a normal day of my life phone is essencial because I need the phone to stay connected with all my friends and family. I'm always looking in my mobile either in facebook or instagram I think the phone informs us everything we need to know. In my opinion a lot of people use the phone for work or to read the newspaper online and I believe that one day newspaper and magazines will disappear because everyone will read it in internet where is free and fast. It's sad to say, but I can't imagine life without phones!!!!

ABERCROMBIE & FITCH will start selling clothing in plus sizes for the first time in a bid to attract new customers, following another dip in sales. The company currently doesn't carry sizes above large, as part of its famously "exclusionary" ethos. The American label is expanding its women's tops collection, to offer a broader range of sizes and colours, and is also planning to launch a shoe category. Company shares have lost an estimated 30 per cent of their value this year, as young shoppers turn to more trend-driven brands, Reuters reports.

Mi opinion about batx

The last year, I finished ESO and this year I've started Batxillerat. I've chosen social btx because I don't like scientific subjects such as chemistry or biology. Is new for me but I would explain what is my opinion about batxillerat. So, I think is not difficult but it's a little bit complicate because we have a lot of homework and examens. For other part, we learning a lot every classes I've been and it's perfectly for me. I'm learning a lot this year, exactly in languages, I can speak French and English a little bit more than the last year and I'm feeling good because i will need idioms for my future. In conclusion, batxillerat is my new goal and I hope to have it.

Winter is coming

I had enjoy this summer a lot because was a hot summer and this is great for me because i love beach and pools.. So this summer is over until june. Now is time to study and stay with your family with a hot chocolate and stuff. I'm waiting for cold days because it's not too cold yet. A perfect day in winter for me, is a lazy day in the sofa with my friends watching a romantic film, doing nothing. I can't wait for coldest weather, for christmas holidays and for new year too.. NEW YEAR, NEW LIFE! 

The purge

Another day were in tatiana's house with my friends and we watched The purge and we were very scared. 

This film is about United States in 2022 where the government have instituted an anual night called "the purge" during witch all criminal activity becomes legal. When the purge begins, everyone closes at home with his family safe. The protagonists are a family of four, parents, a daughter and a younger son. During the purge, the youngest son Charlie opens the door to a black guy who needs help because other people want to kill him. Then the murderers tell at family they have two options, either deliver the boy to come in and die or kill everyone. The father wants to give the boy to protect his family but others will not, and ultimately don't deliver the boy and choose to fight against all murderers. 

Tamara and the magical world

Once upon a time was a girl very spoilt and egoistic called Tamara. One day when she was playing with her ball suddently if fell down the stairs of the garage. When she went down she saw a big pink and fluffy teddy bear. She really like it so she decided to bring it to her room. When she picked up she saw a birght light and everything suddently went wen white and she feel in to a paral·lel world. She loved this new world full of toys and sweets and everything she liked. She spent all day playing with the magical toys and eating the giant sweet. But in the real world parents very worried and they thought that she had dissapeared. But soon Tamara started to abuse of all the magical things and slowly this magical world strarted to fall apart. All of the bad stuff that Tamara did like throwing sweets at the toys started to take an afect to the real world and Tamara had no idea what she was doing. One day the magical world dissapared because there was nothing else left to it. The girl woke up in her bedroom very surprised, she went to see her parents cause even thought she had a lot of fun in the world she missed her parents a bit. When her parents saw her they started to cry and Tamara was very confused  because. She started to look around the house and she saw everything was different and it wasn't just the house she was also very different. She was much bigger and her clothes were to small for her, then she noticed that she hadn't been out for just a day it was much more. 

Another thing she didn't know is that all the bad things that she did in the magical world afected the real life and since she left everything started to go bad. She felt really bad and because she felt so bad suddently everything went back to normal and she was a 7 year old again. Now Tamara is a good girl and she learn her lesson that if you do bad things, bad thingss will happend to you.

One day, I browsing in internet  I found a very funny page in Facebook. Is called BEST VINES and it's very funny. In this page, people ups videos of people or animals doing stupid  things (stupid and funny both) or people falling when they are dancing and others, There are some videos of jokes that "friends" do too. Best vines is in other social neetworks too, like in @Instagram or in @Twitter. More than 15.000.000 people like this page in Facebook, so I think it's incredible. I really like this fantastic videos and I can't wait to see another of those videos!

Presentation

Hello, I’m Laura Saus, I’m 16 and I live in Castelló d’Empúries. Since I was little I've been studying in Castelló, I've never  gone to another school.  I live in Castelló with my parents and my brother Pau. I have one dog and his name is Max and two turtles too. I have loved theatre and dancing since I was little but I can't do it now because I need time to my studies. The last year i went to medium group of English, and this year I go to the first group and i hope to learn a lot of english!

Imagine is a song created by John Lennon  in 1971.

I think this song is not exactly a protest song but it conveys a great message and with a small gesture tries to change the world and how to see people's things. 

The song is about how it would be a better world, in which there were no religions or any reason to kill or die. It asks us to imagine the peaceful world without borders, religious and political barriers or nationalities, that in addition to considering the possibility of focusing on living a life away from material possessions. It is a well-known song, sure you all know, as it was of the first songs that stood out for the message it wanted to transmits to society. I like it because it attempts to show people that we have to enjoy what life gives us and appreciate things more.
